Fakemon Legendary: Irideserpent

Here we have the mascot of Pokemon Rainbow and the Rainbow pokemon itself Irideserpent. When designing this pokemon, I looked into the rainbow serpent of mythos to get the colours right. I even added in frills and see through wings for uniqueness for the pokemon. Now the pokemon is in it's active form, a form it takes when it's signature is active or for fighting perposes. When it's not in active form, the colour fade away into pearl/ivory white and the frill fold down making it look like a regular snake that is giant.

Anyways, in the past before the rage incident, Irideserpent came to the Xulen to bring colour to the land as the Monochrome pokemon Lychrome was draining the colours of the land and freezing pokemon and people in time because of that. When it used it's power to bring colour and life back, Lychrome was livid and this resulted in the clash of hues. But their constant fighting brought forth a new threat to the region in the form of Brutalius who back then was called Iragon. When the pokemon saw the rage pokemon's power affecting people and pokemon, they put aside their fight to team up to beat Iragon before it's rage spills out to the rest of the regions. The battle was long but the pair succeeded only to witness the pokemon split into 2 beings, it's energies condensing into rage pearls and scatter across the region and finally the appearance of the rage medallion splitting in half and head to the split form of Iragon Hunold and Brutacula before the split pokemon were encased in crystals and went underground in hibernation. The battle took alot out of them so the pair split and head to different areas to sleep where temples would be erected on them in their statue form.

Now in Pokemon Rainbow, the key item you get is the rainbow scale which came from Irideserpent. It said that if you are given a rainbow scale in your dreams and it appears in real life, it means that you are given a destiny by the rainbow serpent pokemon. Course in Monochrome it's the monochrome feather you get. Anyways. Throughout your journey, you get glimpses of the serpent in your vision but these are illusions created by the pokemon itself. 

When you go after General Rourke in the Tomb of Brutalius/Iragon, he presents the medal of the hunt to the blue crystal which began to break revealing the Hunter Rage Pokemon Hunolf. The awakening of this pokemon threatens to awaken the Brute Rage Pokemon Brutacula from the red crystal. As Rourke laugh knowing that his plans are working, that's when the rainbow scale glows. You see, earlier when you went to Rawhide city, you went to the Temple of Rainbow but the entrance to it is sealed meaning that no one can get into the temple. With the scale glowing, the entrance opens as light shines in to a statue in the heart of the temple. In a blast of colours, Irideserpent awakens from it's slumber and teleports to the tomb. Once arriving, the pokemon cries out at Rourke and Hunolf. Seeing the rainbow pokemon, Rourke is enraged as Hunolf attacks the rainbow pokemon. With the Hunter Rage Pokemon active, the rage pearl Rourke has reacts to his anger causing him to mutate into a beast with one goal on his mind, kill the target in front of him. Course like with Ultra Beast mother Lusamine, when his pokemon are out, their stats are boosted. After the defeat of Rourke, Irideserpent puts Hunolf back to sleep until the day a strong willed trainer can tame him and Brutacula. Irideserpent looks at you before leaving the tomb back to it's temple. 

On your way to Rap Road, you get sidetracked by a young girl in a rainbow dress guiding you to Rawhide City, more specifically the Temple of Rainbow. You arrive at the entrance to see the girl who giggles before running into the temple. Course you noticed that the entrance is no longer sealed and with curiousity settling in, you follow the girl and inside the temple, you encounter the present day Xulenian Meowths and their regional evolution Meowsoleum along with a few ghost type pokemon including the 2% rare pokemon Xulenian Sinistea and the even rarer Poltistein. 

You arrive at the heart of the temple and see the girl in front of the statue of Irideserpent. The girl disappears revealing that she was a illusion created by Irideserpent just as the rainbow scale comes out of your bag and glows brightly before going to Irideserpent. In a blast of colour, in front of your is the now alive rainbow pokemon. It engages you in battle to see how strong you are. When it's health is in the red, you catch it with any pokeball and a cutscene plays showing how many times the ball shakes and you watching the ball. Once it shakes a third, it clicks and you have caught the pokemon.

In Monochrome, you get rainbow scale after a post game mission from the professor and you use it to head to the Temple of Rainbow on a island.
